Volunteer
The Clermont County Humane Society offers many different types of programs for interested community members to become involved in. We hope you will find one of interest to you and contact the Shelter today. Humane Education - involves going out to local schools, churches, day care centers, or wherever a speaker is needed and teaching the importance of responsible pet ownership. Pet Therapy - is a very worthwhile project to become involved in. Take a pet from the shelter into various nursing homes and retirement facilities and brighten up the lives of our older generation. Satellite Adoptions - involves taking shelter animals up for adoption into various local pet stores. All the policies of the shelter apply to these adoptions. Fundraising - We couldn't exist without donations from community members. Contact the Shelter at (513) 732.8854 to find out how YOU can help. The Shelter has recently "partnered" up with two local organizations, The Circle Tail, and Mounted Rescue. Follow these links to find out how our partnering with these programs has helped our animals. If you are attending your first Volunteer meeting, it is suggested that you contact the shelter at (513) 732-8854. |
