Statistics

In the past we have not shared with our members the numbers of animals that we deal with on a daily basis. While these figures unfortunately show the large number of animals which are euthanized, they also reflect the many adoptions we are doing. In a perfect world every animal would have a good home. We do our best with the resources we have, but for many animals that is not enough.

The support of the community in controlling pet populations by spaying and neutering is the ONLY real solution to this problem. Just remember that with your support over one hundred dogs and cats a month are adopted from the shelter. Without you, this would not be possible.

Difficult as it may be to read, please note that only 25% of the animals that come to us are either claimed or adopted. It is important that there be a facility where homeless animals receive a second chance of finding a loving home.
